Definitions


Aioli
is a garlic mayonnaise.

Bolognaise is the French name for Bolognese, a meat-based pasta sauce originating in Bologna, Italy.
Crème Fraiche is a rich cream with a nutty, slightly sour taste and a velvety texture.

Feta a white, crumbly Greek cheese made from sheep's or goat's milk.

The Gherkin is a fruit similar in form and nutritional value to a cucumber.

Gnocchi are small dumplings made from potato, semolina or flour.

Gruyère is in the family of Swiss cheeses, named for the Gruyère valley of Fribourg Sweitzerland.

Harissa is a hot red pepper paste used in North African cooking.

Pecorino is the name given to all Italian cheeses made from sheep's milk.

Wasabi is Japanese horseradish

For entrées not accompanied by pasta or potato, there is a choice potato; mashed potato, French Fries or baked potato OR Rice of the Day
